problem after a measure of a capacitor charge!!

but i have some problems again!!!!

the capacitance is wrong!!!

i will explain how i tune it!

with esr meter switched off i put a wire in the right soket,switched on and waited for calibration;after i put a capacitor of 470uf and i tuned R9 until i read the correct capacitance.
i pulled out the capacitor and switched off the esr meter.
after i put again the wire in the right soket with esr meter switched off,after i switched on the esr meter and waited for calibration;after i put a capacitor of 1000uf and i tuned R9 until i read the correct capacitance.
i pulled out the capacitor and switched off the esr meter.
after i put again the wire in the right soket with esr meter switched off,after i switched on the esr meter and waited for calibration, i put again the capacitor of 470uf but the read was wrong!!! it strange..it seems that when i put a capacitor and tune R9 and after i put another capacitor and tune again R9 seems i lost the tune i did before for the other capacitor..then the capacitance is never correct!
did you understand?
is it possible the diodes of protection are broken or not or other components for the read of the capacitance?

P.S  if i do the calibration with the probes on the left side and after i read with the probes on the left side 1-10-100 ohm, i read 1.25 ohm - 12.5 ohm - 112 ohm !!!

with multimeter: 425uf  with esr meter (right soket): 420uf with esr meter  (probes): 406uf

330uf  25v

with multimeter: 321uf  with esr meter (right soket): 318uf   with esr meter  (probes): 307uf

220uf 35v

with multimeter: 202 uf  with esr meter (right soket) : 198 uf  with esr meter (probes): 192uf

3.3uf 450v

with multimeter: 3.61 uf  with esr meter (right soket) : 3.83 uf    with esr meter (probes): 3.83uf

4.7uf 350v

with multimeter: 4.98 uf  with esr meter (right soket) : 5.30 uf    with esr meter (probes): 5.28uf

2.2uf 100v

with multimeter: 2.02 uf  with esr meter  (right soket) : 2.18 uf    with esr meter (probes): 2.18uf

i done these measure with right soket and with the probes the measure are different for the high capacitance!

i noted that the calibration of probes are wrong!!

if i put the probes in the left soket after the calibration i read:

1 ohm: 1.15
10 ohm: 11.7
100 ohm: 125



i repeat..until i broken the esr meter the read of capacitance between multimeter and esr meter were similar!
now i see some difference and i don't know if the esr is affidable!

Alex sorry for delay with reply, you know there were holidays in Russia...
So. About capacitance measurement all OK I think.
if you calculate in percentage you will get:
992uF  1.5% and -1.7% (socket and probes)
425uF  -1.1% and -4.4%
321uF  -0.9% and -4.3%
202uF  -1.9% and -4.9%
3.61uF  -6% and -6%
4.98uF  6.4% and 6%
2.02uF 7.9% and 7.9%
FACTORY tolerance for electrolitical capacitors is about +/-20%
so it doesn't matter exact capacitance value, I bet you have never seen elactrolitical "precision" cap (even with tolerance +/-5%!!!)
Next.
About ESR:
just insert 10ohm resistor into socket and tune R15 and all should be Ok I think. As you told you measure 10ohms and see 11.7...  need to be 10.0

first tune R15 using 10 ohms in socket.
After that do calibration and check unit with others resistors (i mean low-ohms 0.22, 0,47 and so...)
Readings should be +/-0.01...0.02ohms from nominal value

you need to do calibration only one time.
AND after every time you tune pot R15
after you turn device off it saves all constants in its EEPROM
And sure if you use probes, you need to do calibration for probes.
For now just tune 10 ohms and check first

i do the calibration..after i put the 10ohms resistor and tune R15; after i switch off the device so it saves in eprom.
after i redo the calibration and i do the tune r15 with the others low resistor doing the calibration when i switch off and switch on the device.

here process step-by-step:
1. first tune R15 with 10 ohms.
2. do calibration with wire on socket
3. Check with low-ohms resistors (on socket)
4. if tolerance less than 0.02ohms for resistors 0.1....1ohm that all Ok
5. if tolerance greater than 0.02 ohm you can insert 1 ohm resistor and tune R15 to get readings 1.00
6. calibrate again and check
